Use the search facilities
Searching is based on what people have entered in their own profiles. So if you specify a lot of criteria when searching, you will only get results from people whose profiles include all that same information. So you may need to leave some sections completely blank. If something is not important to you, don't tick any boxes in that section at all - that way you will find people who simply haven't filled in that part of their profile yet. You can change your search settings as often as you want. The best way to set up the right criteria for you is to start by only including the things that are absolutely essential... then add 'nice to haves' until you get a list of members who are about right for you.
Search types
You can do a general search (this allows you to filter your search results according to the criteria available on the list), member search (which leads to one specific member) and post code search (search within a certain location). Start with easy search criteria and then go on to more specific ones.

Can I save my search?
Save time when searching for your other half by storing your different searches in the "My saved search" section. Type a name that will help you remember your search.
