I was very pleased that asda didnt put their xmas stock out properly till 1st november. tho they have had xmas cakes and mince pies on sale for months... not complaining about that bit tho.

I organised our secret santa at work today just so I could get my present buying out of the way

How big a house would you need to fit all those presents in?  And my God, there would be an awful smell

When I was growing up the decorations always went up on Christmas Eve.  These days I tend to put them up a **** earlier, and the ones in the car go up on the first weekend in December

You have car decorations

I usually put mine up somewhere around xmas if I can be bothered tho as splash found the xmas tree and decs from behind the sofa and tried to eat them I dont think I will bother this year

Yup the flat has a few decorations including tree that hangs from the ceiling and replaces the dining room light, and my wee car has a few sets of lights, some tinsel, and a couple of baubles - cannot have the poor wee thing feeling left out

I love the tree, but not so fussed on hanging decorations from the ceiling.  My **** is very excited this year, and she can't wait to get away shopping and seeing all the Christmas stuff.

Amb, it's not Christmas till the coke ad is on tv.........i LOVE it

Trollop.

I put my decs up on Xmas Eve, they come down on the 12th day. I embrace Christmas fully for the full 12/13 days.

Anyone who wants to do them earlier for me is welcome.

I would quite like a flashing santa... one of them that bares his bum on the side of my house....
