No ... if you believe in the sanctity of marriage getting married in a church is a given !!  And the part that costs mega bucks is the fecking party that follows it ... and NO-ONE needs a sodding party to show or prove they are married and / or love each other .... get a grip woman

Many do believe in the whole marriage thing and good luck to them..
As you Say Lily it can be done on a budget even for a church wedding. Once the church has been paid for anything more are extras

He's rich

then you have no need of worrying about a budget, lucky lady

TA I wasn't saying you CAN'T have a big, flash, over the top wedding ... I was just saying that really that isn't the POINT of a wedding .... it's the meaning and the feelings behind the getting married that makes it important .... it's lovely if you can afford to spend shed loads of money but you don't NEED to ........

Ruby since when have threads been linked ??  Surely the whole point of having 'different' threads is to say 'different' things on them ..... not everybody reads every thread and not everybody follows everything everybody else says ........ if you wanted to ask TA what kind of dress, style of wedding she would like then you should've been much, much clearer ......

If you believe in marriage and what it stands for then of course you'd go for a church ceremony .... stupid question really ..... if it's just a piece of paper then why are you doing it in the first place ???  Would I do it again .... I say no and I mean it - now .... will I still say no tomorrow ??  Who knows ..... until I was 30 I said I was NEVER going to marry and yet I did .... moral of the story ... never say never !!!

not really  its the expense of it

Explain your comment then ................ all I did was answer the question, and maybe expand a **** with my own PERSONAL views ................ then YOU made a comment about expense ...................... NO-ONE else was talking about cost, expense or money

Just checked. The piece of material across the front isn't there but up higher where her hand is on her hip that has a ruffled look. Damn, I wish I could post a picture on here.
