Was there, yesterday, watching the Men's marathon

We walked up along the Embankment, into Parliament Square, up Birdcage Walk and to St James' Park......

What a wonderful City London is

The people, the vibrancy, and a better setting ocouldn't have been asked for ...
The excitement, roar of the crowd for every athlete from first to last ( and loudest for the British )

A truly great spectacle

Congrats to Britain

Great event, very well organized and surprising in many aspects.

Now back to normal. How are London streets? clean? Busy?

Do you think the Olympics brought a big impact to the British economy or you believe it was pure investment?

Who cares?
It was what the citizens of this country really needed, a huge happy party with happy smiley people who look after their bodies and souls and dont expect mere human beings to bow down and worshp them.

I think that was what i enjoyed the most, the sheer joy of the atheltics, win or lose. No one, declined an interveiw cause they had lost. No harsh words just sport as .t should be.

And to those grumpy gits, "the money should have been spent elsewhere". Most of the money came from the lottery and its up to the Government to fund NHS, **** etc.

One of my clients told me today that it cost £1 per head for everyone in the uk for this event.. which if true is fantastic value for money... yes it cost alot to build the stadia and put the event on but the legacy that it will leave more than makes up for it.

People, especially the newspapers focus on the negative when really what we should have is a whole lot of proud brits who enjoyed this spectacle.  I am very proud and what our sportspeople acheived is fantastic. **** has pledged to keep the funding going till after the rio games so I guess the only way is up
