Choices, choices - not only if you're polyamorous, but even just where to place this thread!  Is it a Dating & Love Advice topic, or is it Religion and Philosophy?

The Beeb is running a **** article Is it possible to have a happy open marriage.  It's a topic that comes up on here from time to time.  I'd be interested to hear from more people who've tried it, and any views on whether you think it will ever become accepted in mainstream Western society.

Apart from people with strong religious views I find it somewhat odd that it seems frowned upon or considered weird by so many, while at the same time society seems to accept that people from non-**** heritage may have different models of marriage/long term relationships.
