Since the demise of Palerider I don't know any other horror film junkies on here so here is a plea for some fellow fans....

What are your favourites?

Am just sitting down to watch 'Catacombs' which to be honest I expect to be fairly pants but it's half price day at our local video store so I always grab a bunch of films.

I love:

The Thing (prob all time favourite)
the Alien films
the Saw films
Hostel 1 & 2
Wolf Creek
Texas chainsaw massacre
Blair Witch
Grindhouse (saw this only the other day and loved loved loved it)
Don't look now
The Shining (god I love this - have watched it over and over and over)
Night of the Living ****, Evil ****, Dawn of the ****

Of the recent films Lake Eden and Funny Games really appealed too...

Sure I will think of more...

Hoping to see some fellow horror film addicts on here....

Oh yeah, some good choices there.

I don't watch too many now, but have seen a lot of those ones.  Just to point out, Alien and Aliens are both classics, but 3 and 4 weren't.

Last one I saw was that eden lake, excellent, a daily mail readers wet dream.

I also liked Descent, should appeal, all about these action girls that go into spooky caves.

Have you seen an old 80s horror call Dust Devil?  Set in south africa/namibia?

I want to watch that but it's not on at Cineworld which has annoyed me. They are supposed to be the 2nd biggest in the UK aren't they?

Am kinda unsure about the Hellraiser remake you know.... I loved the original. I think there has been some tidy horror films of late you know doc...

You not a fan of the hostel and early Saw films?

Oh and there was one I saw not so long ago but can't remember it's name - something like 'executioners chair' set in an abandoned insane asylum? anyone know what i mean? British film.... rather liked it...
