Real life vs online life

I have heard it said that the connections we make online are just fantasy if there is no chance of a face to face meeting. Some people imply that you cant have real feelings for someone if you dont see them in person. And they believe this is true for friendships as much as romances. After the news we got today I doubt there is a forumite out there that believes the connections are any less for not meeting in person. I am deeply saddened. Due to the very nature of our friendship there is **** I can do to offer my support to those who will need it the most now. If I take one thing away from all this it is live life fully and take a chance on love. Red did and we are all the better for knowing her.

You and I know we can have real and intense feelings for someone who we are never likely to meet. Our BN history proves that, for better or for worse. Friendships and love affairs can blossom over the internet.

Red and Angry were lucky to have been able to connect for 8 months, I'm not sure if they actually made the atlantic crossing but I know that their love and affection wasn't any the less for the time they spent apart.

It's sad, but at the same time we should be celebrating their happiness together. ****

when you meet and conduct relationships online due to great distances its much more intense than seeing someone everyday..... you open up more online emotionally and feelings can happen a lot quicker than traditional dating.... there is a lot less to **** you off... life is very short in a blink of an eye everything can change "Don't worry about the future; or worry, but know that worrying is as effective as trying to solve an algebra equation by chewing bubblegum.
The real troubles in your life are apt to be things that never crossed your worried mind.
The kind that blindside you at 4pm on some idle Tuesday." baz luhrmann sunscreen song

And I consider you to be a friend as well QM, I just was thinking about this due to recent sad events. Someday in the not too distant future I hope to be able to meet some of my online friends face to face. It doesnt mean that I value them any less though.

Fantasy or not I consider you to be a friend.

I think there’s a fine line between online dating compared to that of real life dating, real life dating is where what you see is what you get whereas online dating can go down the lines of expectation, and anticipating on how somebody’s going to be like when meeting in the real world can be a right killer and can destroy any personal beliefs that you may or have of the person prior the first meet encounter.

At the end of day if somebody doesn’t like someone for whatever the reasons maybe? Then I think people should ask themselves who are they to judge others and why should the person being judged care about what others think about them.

Go with the flow but people mainly should feel happy about themselves, on the inside as well as the on the outside tho.
